Taiga Space, our meeting place for the scheduled bicycle tours. How to get there

Taiga Space is a collection of young St Petersburg designer shops and art studios plus a hipster barbershop and a cafe, located in a historic building 2 min walk from the Hermitage. Our Weekend Bike Tour and the White Night Bike Tour start and finish in the courtyard of Taiga Space. Here’s directions:

The address is Moshkov pereulok, 2. Pereulok means small street or lane in Russian. The very short Moshkov pereulok runs between Palace Embankment (the river Neva) and the Moyka, crossing Millionnaya street on its way. Building 2 is right on the corner of Palace Embankment.

Entrance to the courtyard is through a wooden gate (there’s only one there) under the blue plaque with the street name:

Once you open the gate it will look like this (probably without the boxes):

Our guide should be there 15 min before the scheduled departure. Please book ahead on our web site www.peterswalk.com, or take your chance and turn up without booking. The group is limited to 15 max, and we must make sure to have the right number of bicycles and helmets available.

If you walk from Palace Square you will most likely go past these Atlantes first:

Then cross the little Winter Canal and after one long block you reach Moshkov pereulok. Turn left into it. It’s this street with the cars in the photo between the Italian restaurant (left corner of the photo) and the 1001 Nights restaurant (right corner). Taiga Space is at the far end of it, on the right-hand side.

The Weekend Bike Tour will be running every Saturday and Sunday (except May 27) until the end of September 2017. Departure 11:00 am.

The White Night Bike Tour will be running every Tuesday and Thursday in June – August. Departure 22:30.
